"5th Ministerial Meetings on Youths @ Singapore (24 - 29 April)/ YCM Updates"





Singapore is hosting the 5th ASEAN Ministerial Meeting on Youth (AMMY V) this month, from 24 to 27 April 2007.


In conjunction with the AMMY V, PAYM (People's Association Youth Movement) and NYC (National Youth Council) are organising the Youth Caucus with a theme similar to AMMY V, "Youth: Creating Our Future Together".


The Youth Caucus provides an excellent opportunity for ASEAN youth delegate teams to gain wider exposure and develop a better understanding and camaraderie with their counterparts from the ASEAN region.


As part of the Youth Caucus, there will be a Plenary Session with eminent speakers on Monday, 23 April 2007 where these speakers will be sharing their knowledge and insights on various topics.

PAYM and NYC are inviting YCM panellists to attend Youth Caucus Plenary Sessions.

From April 2007, panellists who have served for 2 consecutive terms are inducted into the YCM Alumni.
YCM Secretariat had arranged a YCM Alumni Luncheon held at NYC lobby Saturday 31 March 2007 , from 11 am to 2pm.



YCM Alumnites had collected their Alumni windbreaker and dri-fit tee before the lunch.
An informal alumni meeting was held till around 2pm+ to discuss, share opinions and brainstorm for ideas to run the YCM Alumni for the upcoming one year.
